Holder himself declined to speak at the hearing, and his attorney argued for a lighter sentence of 20 years, citing his young age and his lack of prior criminal history. However, the judge ultimately agreed with the prosecution’s recommendation of a 60-year sentence, citing the severity of the crime and the impact it had on Hussle’s family and community.
